On my first day in Paris I was lost and confused. I didn't know where I was and how to make my way around the town. I came to write and that first day was a train wreck. I had nothing. My first page lay blank but as the next 4 months rolled along it began to fill. The next day was similar to the first. Nothing popped out and I just wasn't finding what I needed to find. Thoughts of, "This isn't for me, Why am I here, Sleep.." popped into my head. For the next six days I came with an attitude to learn but left with nothing. I was back at square-one... lost and confused. Then the magic started to kick in. I left my distractions in the hotel room and began to focus on the small details. I took my time and didn't rush as much. I was starting to get the fever that was hitting the streets. The man next to me was a tourist. He was here to see the sights, take a couple of pictures but then board a plane and return home to his "normal" life. He didn't want much and every once in a while he would comment on how I was wasting my time. Paris was where I tasted hope. Paris was where I bought a journal that hasn't missed a day. Paris was where I learned how to write my emotions instead of speak. Where I learned to keep things to myself rather then tell the world. Paris is where I learned to be patient. Every morning I would awake and point to a map. The place I point was where I decided to go that day. Wandering Paris was a dream. It seemed unreal some days. Then there were days that you felt in the moment. Emotions would come from all angles. Happy, sad, confused, angry, passionate, were just a couple. Paris was an adventure.Paris was a vacation that I will never forget.

Shake The Dust
Shake the Dust
This one's for all those girls that got away. This one's for all the bus driver's that never get a Thank You. This one's for all the single parent's trying to raise kids on their own. This one's for all the kids growing up without a mom. This one's for all the girls that have an eating disorder. For the old man that stands on the side of the road begging for money. This one's for teacher's that get ignored. For that one shy kid that's afraid to tell that one cute girl that he likes her. This one's for all the veterans. This one is for the children that lost their lives... This one's for the high school dropouts. This one's for all the starving kids in Africa. This one's for the men that created the term "ginger"... This one's for all the coaches that are as passionate about the game as Coach Nickols. This one is for all the people that get made fun of. For the kids that eat lunch alone, for the kids that are in search of just one true friend. This one is for my future wife, my future kids. This one is for all the good role models that lead by example. This one's for all of the people that made me who I am today. This on is for the Facebook Stalkers. This one is for all the SEXY LADIES. This one my friend, is for you.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
It's the most wonderful time of the year. I mean you can't argue with the weather. I love the snow and it's finally starting to come around. Then you've got basketball starting up and the playoffs/ bowl games for football are coming around. Fantasy football playoffs are starting. It's hot chocolate season and in a week we'll have a nice long break from school! It's my favorite time of the year. Now that I think about it though, this could be my last Xmas for a couple of years with the family. I might be on my two year deal at this time next year if I choose not to go to a semester of college first. Anyhow I love this time of the year!
Jealousy
Sick
“I cannot go to school today,”
Said little Peggy Ann McKay.
I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.
My mouth is wet, my throat is dry,
I’m going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
I’ve counted sixteen chicken pox.
And there’s one more—that’s seventeen,
And don’t you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue—
It might be instamatic flue.
I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I’m sure that my left leg is broken—
My hips hurt when I move my chin,
My belly button’s caving in,
My back is wrenched, my ankle’s sprained,
My ‘pendix pains each time it rains.
My nose is cold, my toes are numb,
I have a silver in my thumb.
My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,
I think my hair is falling out.
My elbow’s bent, my spine ain’t straight,
My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,
There is a hole inside my ear.
I have a hangnail, and my hart is—what?
What’s that? What’s that you say?
You say today is… Saturday?
G’bye, I’m going out to play!”
-Shel Silverstein
This poem makes me so jealous simply because I just want to be a kid again. I remember faking sick so often when I was in Elementary school. I liked school but I always liked to have a day off once in a while. Plus I could convince my mom of anything at that age. I especially did it a lot in 5th grade because I wasn't a big fan of my teacher.

The Perfect Crime
What is my perfect crime?
I drive to Canada. Find a man. His name is Justin. Justin Beiber. I stalk him looking for any opportunity to strike. It's late and he goes inside. I sneak through a basement window. I become aware of my surroundings. I hear him. Do I hide? No. I strike and she is there! This is where the story gets interesting.
Her name is Selena. She is one of the most beautiful women in the world. JB has left the room. I approach her. She smiles, as if knowing I was already coming. We flee into the city, get into a hotel and make love all night. She awakens and I am gone. On her night stand lays a piece of paper saying, "Thank You." Her purse is gone. Do I take the cards? No, they are already cut into pieces and thrown away. I have $1,000 in cash and memories about last night.
Months later she notices a contact in her phone named, "That One Night" She calls and lets me know she is in love. I tell her to meet me in Cabo. She arrives but i watch from a distance. She is surrounded by body guards. She has played me it's all a trap. I already knew though. I am laying on a rooftop just south of her. I call her phone and tell her to turn around. She moves and I take the shot. She is gone. It was all for the better.

Todd: So where would you guys like to eat?
Boy in the Back: Does the movie pause?
(everyone is now either frustrated or laughing)
Todd: Ok, I know this great Chinese place down the road. It's a great deal but its a little more pricey. Also, they have some of the best crap legs in town.
Boys: Ok let's do it!
Ya, I'm in.

Todd: Ok, it's a deal.
Boy in the Back: Actually can we go to Wendy's?
